During lockdown, we were very lucky to remain a busy store. Whilst we were indeed fortunate as many other shops and business struggled, it did catch us slightly off guard. This resulted in staff having to work extra hours to cover the increase in demand. Customers started to prefer home appointments when the rules allowed and video appointments instead of visiting the gallery and this only proved to stretch us further. However we always enjoy visiting clients homes and curating their spaces and we were happy this became an integral part of the business. I am proud of the way our staff adapted to a new way of working and gave everything to make sure the business was open all hours to give clients a little joy in the form of art during a dark time.
