Pets at Home Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, Phoenix Way, Stoke-on-Trent
I am proud of my store because we are a strong team and are always around to help any customers or each other, we support each other throught everything, but also we always put our animals needs first no matter how big or small we ensure they all get the best care. This store took me in after my work experience here and welcomed me with open arms and truly made me one of the team, now 2 years later we are taking on other colleagues and still giving everyone the support and welcome they deserve
Hypermarkt Carrefour KORBEEK-LO, Vlinderlaan, Bierbeek, Belgium
I am proud of my store because the people that work there go that extra mile for our customers and for each other. Nothing is to difficult or to much to ask. I see it as one big happy family with ups and downs like all families but in the end we stick together.
We also support local products and give people a chance to put their product in the spotlight in our store and generate sales and maybe future success and expansion.
Sometimes we also do extra incentives for our customers and create a nice theatrical installation of certain products with a nice promotion and when people order online we go with the groceries to their car and help unload them into the car.
For our Disney promotion we had a guy making balloons for the kids he came straight from Disney 🙂
Every saturday we also a “crazy saturday” and at 14.00h you can buy a product at a crazy price.
And always everything with a smile.
And that is why i am so proud to be part of that wonderful team and our store

Hobbs, George Street, Edinburgh
My team work incredibly hard each day to offer outstanding styling and service to each customer, often going the extra mile by offering to carry bags to cars, post items to save carrying, but mainly because day after day they make customers feel special and confident in new outfits for whatever occasion.
We have just recently restarted charity events, and Fiona and Gillian produced an outstanding styling presentation to inspire the ladies that attended. Other members of the team offered to be models and the rest worked hard to ensure a fantastic night was had. A real team effort! Raising £400 for Alzheimer’s Scotland also which was just fantastic.
My team are incredible and would be fantastic for them to be recognised .

Toolstation Bermondsey, Rotherhithe New Road, London
I am proud of my store and team for triumphing during times of hardship where staffing levels where extremely low. The remaining members of the team showed great perseverance even managing to pass all visits with near excellent scores.
Now with staffing levels back and a new store manager the store is going from strength to strength raising money for macmillan with bake sales in recent times, along with general day to day tasks being done to perfection.
Our staff have an amazing rapport with our customers there’s always laughs when you come to Bermondsey store it’s a great atmosphere not only for our staff but also our customer base, everyone leaves feeling happy with there day just that bit better. As a store manager I couldn’t be more greatful for the team I have been blessed with.
Day Lewis Pharmacy Birkenhead, Fender Way, Beechwood Drive, Birkenhead, Prenton
We have worked together throughout a testing few years through covid and short staffing.
my work family have had many personal challenges including illness, bereavement and changes in staff and remained positive and supportive of each other.
They have gone above and beyond for the community, arranging flu jabs and extra care for the most vulnerable, remaining in contact when we haven’t even be open, working overtime, raising money for Douglas MacMillan and delivering not only prescriptions but also shopping for the most vulnerable.
They never turn anyone away and will go to the end of the earth for their community.
Victoria’s Secret PINK, Oxford
I am proud of my team because of the consistent good mystery shop results we continue to get.
We went from 46% to 94.6% it took a lot of coaching and developing my team to get to that stage.
Finally the hardwork has paid off!!

I am proud of my store because we go the extra mile for every customer every day. A customer buys into us before they buy into the product therefore we ensure we offer a 5 star service to everyone and be relatable to all of our customers no matter what age or who they are. A smile , a hello , a thank you goes a very long way. We receive so many amazing feedbacks which we just love to see we also ensure we respond to every customer and take on board everything they say. Newlook poole is one big family we all enjoy our job and coming to work every day , but newlook poole would not be newlook poole without all our amazing customers. Pets at Home Blackpool, Plymouth Road, Holyoak Avenue, Blackpool
I am proud of our store and my amazing team because everyone always works so hard and to their full potential no matter what. They are dedicated to giving the best to our customers and their pets and also look after the animals within the store as if they were their own . All of the pets at home team are caring, empathetic , understanding, trustworthy and help each other. I think personally that my team are absolutely outstanding as not only do they have to be good at retail they have to be able to give the correct information to customers about their pets and also care for pets within the store.
The Entertainer, Market Walk, Corby
I am super proud of my store because on one hand its about the team, their happiness, successes personal or professional but its also about the customer, in our case its kids! Spending their pocket money or parents getting a suprise or presents, we are on hand to help, whether it be secretly scanning it so the kids dont see or helping the kids decide, we are keeping the magic alive.

Pets at Home Burscough, Tollgate Road, Burscough, Ormskirk
I am proud of my store and my amazing team at Pets at home Burscough. As well as being so much fun to work with they inspire me every day, give their all and work as a team, like a work family. Recently the team went to our partnered charity Carla lane Animals in need and spent 3 days helping clean and tidy a food container, it was tough work but all done with a smile 🥰
Pets at Home Hexham, Station Road, Hexham
The feeling of being a family is reflected so well. When speaking to my team they feel a strong bond and always say that we have a great team, and I agree. Everyone is unique and everyone brings something different to work. I like to think as a Manager I encourage my team to voice their concerns or feelings, and I am really grateful for when they do. Our store has impeccable standards and something our Area Manager picks up on, I can count on my team to keep those standards high. We have a very regular customer base who have gotten to know us as individuals and regularly wish us well on our social media platforms or in person. We work alongside our groomers, we are all one team helping each other
We have all been through so much and I am exceptionally proud to be the manager of this store still after 8 years of being here
New Look, Denton, Manchester
I am proud of my store team because we are a true family together. With ages ranging from 65 to 16 across 22 individual team members, you’d think we would struggle to be able to find common ground together, however this melting pot of characters manages to banter our way through a working day, whilst also being incredibly supportive of each other.
One example of this is one of our team members lost her dad within a year, after a totally out of blue diagnosis. My guys all decided to come together and do a collection for her which included, flowers, a Man City tshirt with her Dad’s name on and a memory bear, all because she was one of ours and she needed us.
Another fab example is the year I turned 40, the entire team collaborated to surprise me with a Ladyship….something I didn’t even know was possible!! Total shock, but amazing thought gone into such a gift.
As a store team, we also collect weekly through our tills for the local charity Stockport Mind, and with this being such a good cause, and local to the team, we have increased our charity contributions by more than 60% each week. There is nobody in the team who hasn’t been touched in some way by mental health issues, and we have also arranged extra charity events throughout the year, including a Team Time Tea Time which is along the lines of a coffee morning, where we will all come together voluntarily to have a catch up, reach out to someone we might not have spoken to in a while and, of course, enjoy homemade snacks!!
The Denton team have seen many people come through our doors, and always enjoy providing a fantastic customer experience where we can, even to the animals!! Case in point, last week we had a lost dog come through our doors, and true to our family vibe in our team, two of us stayed extra to wait with our little four legged visitor so she wasn’t alone until she was collected.
These are just some examples of how we think and treat each other here, as we always say…you can end up spending more time with the people at work than your family, especially people who work full time….so why not make it a family at work! I truly love my team, and I am, exceptionally proud of each and every one of them.
Pets at Home Rochdale, Wallhead Road, Rochdale
Why are we so proud of our store?
We grab every opportunity to have fun, the whole team gets involved in everything we do. Everything we achieve is done as a team. Some see a challenging weekend we see a weekend filled with laughter, incentives and above all else amazing customer service. A happy team is a hard-working team and at Pets at home Rochdale we take every day on with as much enthusiasm as the last. We are a family and means no one gets left behind. We can honestly say we are 100% proud of our team, store and the community that shops with us.
Every single day our team live and breathe our company values. Over the past two years I’ve seen our team go from strength to strength being key workers and being open through out the pandemic it was very challenging and at times scary for the team but here we are stronger at the end of the tunnel.
The team are so so passionate about delivering the best customer experience and helping Pets at home to be the best pet care centre in the world.
We have all your pets needs under one roof with us the shopfloor, our amazing vets and our experienced groom room, with all this you don’t need to go anywhere else! We really are here for our communities pet needs.
We have solid relationships with our regular customers who choose to come back to us for our customer service.
Nothing is too much trouble when it comes to our customers.
We run free kids workshops at the weekends to educate them about pet care and they can have a cheeky cuddle with a rabbit or guinea pig. Sometimes our mascot Robbie the dog makes an appearance and the kids love him!
Within the workshop they make treats, toys and hides for our animals and get to put the in the pens! Then they leave with a box full of information, colouring sheets and stickers!
These workshops really do help our communities children become responsible pet owners when they grow up.
We help our charity partner Pennine Pen animal rescue with fundraising weekends, donations and supporting them with information on our community board in store. The work they do is amazing and we are so proud to support them.
We have our regular pets that come in to including our Diego ‘D’ who has been coming into the store for years. Unfortunately he has been recently diagnosed with cancer and is predicted at only having a month left so he has a bucket list in place and he gets extra treats and cuddles when he visits. He still has the energy to steal the odd treat from our pick and mix biscuit bar though!
As a team we aren’t afraid to get stuck in and make a fool of ourselves when it comes to incentives and charity. Being that karaoke offs, dress up days or making a music video we always aim to be the best and beat the area!
And that is why we believe Pets at home Rochdale should be Proud of our Store 2022!
Pets at Home York, Stirling Road, York
We work amazingly together to provide excellent customer service, we also encourage customers to recycle food pouches and bags in store with our recycling point. We provide amazing enthusiastic workshops to teach about animals.
Pets at Home, George Richards Way, Broadheath, Altrincham
I am extremely proud to work in Pets at Home Altrincham because passion for people and pets is at the forefront of our mission. I would wholeheartedly say that Altrincham is one of the most welcoming and wholesome stores to both shop and work in. With colleague appreciation and wellbeing a top priority for us. We regularly celebrate and shout about our amazing colleagues both in store and on our company intranet; whether they have been awarded colleague of the month, celebrating passing internal courses, long term service, pets at home anniversaries, incentive winners, new starters etc. A huge part of why I am filled with pride working at Pets at Home Altrincham is down to the feedback we receive from new starters/visitors. We get described as being memorable, having an amazing passion and ‘buzz’ about our store, being welcoming and accommodating.
Having feedback like this from individuals that aren’t working with us gives me great happiness, knowing that we are a team that naturally emits that kind of energy is a huge achievement in itself.
The morale in store is more than always at optimum level, but if for whatever reason it has taken a dip and we need a reason to lift ourselves back up we rally around and make sure it happens. Whether that be a little pick-me-up gift, baking goodies for the team, doing our daily shoals and catch ups outside with the fresh air, putting a colouring book/word searches in the colleague room, celebrating valentines day with little hampers and thank you notes etc!
One thing our shop is well known for is Christmas work day- our team work extremely hard all year round when it comes to incentives and winning team reward vouchers so that we can put them all together and throw an amazing festive day in work. A couple of colleagues go out picking, buying and wrapping all individually thought of gifts for every one in the shop (in their own time), we then all bring in our all time favourite food to share with eachother, play festive music, wear festive jumpers and be thankful for eachother.
Colleagues are everything, without them we are nothing. This team is the most caring, thoughtful and fun loving group of people I have ever had the pleasure of working with and this is honestly the reason why I am so proud to be apart of it.
I am honoured and would like to highlight this to whoever I possibly can!
Thank you for taking the time to read this, Corrina
Pets at Home Brighouse, Bradford Road, Brighouse
My store has been dragged through the turmoils of Covid, staff shortages, and managers coming and going, but our team is stronger than ever! We always have each other’s backs, have a good laugh, support each other when we’re not at our best, and most importantly, we strive to deliver the best service that we possibly can! Our customers love the family atmosphere, many of them referring to us by name, and we love seeing their beautiful pets growing up and becoming part of their families (and ours!) It’s been a very difficult past 2 years, putting a lot of strain on everybody in store, including the customers, but we have powered through, becoming closer and working together better than ever! Even our regulars have stated what a lovely team we have, and how we’re always so willing to go the extra mile for their beloved animals. I’m honored to be able to say that I am a part of this wonderful team of colleagues.
Pets at Home Preston Capitol Centre, Walton-le-Dale, Preston

New Look, Newcastle upon Tyne
I am proud of my store every day!
Our team live and breathe the business values. Work extremely hard to find solutions to everything that stands in their way of being the best and delivering the best experience to our customers. Retail is such a challenging place to work right now and having a team that adapts well to change whilst maintaining that passion to build a future for Retail is rare. They have great team spirit and pick each other up and support each other when they may not be 100% and because of this everyone enjoys coming to work. We have had some great succession in the last 11 month and this has been through supporting the team to be the best and everyone taking part in that. I would love them to be recognised for all their hard work and dedication.
Pets at Home Preston Capitol Centre, Walton-le-Dale, Preston

New Look, Stratford-upon-Avon
I am proud of my team here in Stratford Upon Avon because everyone has their own personality that reflects in the great service they deliver to our Customer. Each and everyone of them go the extra mile to offer that VIP service from the time our customers walk through the door to the fitting room, where they offer that little sprinkle of magic to make everyone of them feel special for the occasion they have mentioned to the team member. A big Shout out to Charlotte Manly who drives our Charity always does it with passion from the heart. The Supervisors who drive their amazing team.
We also engage on how important our community is and making them feel special to want to return again and again. Our team member Charlotte Lythgo stand out from the crowd of always delivering the customer expectation over and above and that reflects on the store reviews.

Critizr is a great platform that takes a couple of minutes to fill out a feedback survey and they could win something great by doing it. It is a win win sensation for store and customer 🌟🥇
Customers enjoy giving their thoughts about our staff and who helped them the most, who stood out, who went above and beyond! That’s what we strive for 👏🥂

New Look, King Street, South Shields
In hindsight and in general from as long as I can remember customer is what has always been our passion.
It’s seen as a habit of pride, experience, fun, vibe, reliability , confidence.
We ensure to make sure that the above is what is demonstrated. I believe customers have great faith in this store.
Being a big name on the high street we recognise that we should not only deliver great fashion but a experience from the team in general. That’s what sets us apart from anyone.
We have built great relationships with customers. We know their wants and needs and that’s not just fashion wise.
We are on first name basis with quite alot of them.
What’s important to me and our team is that when they walk in they are at ease, excited and comfortable.
I always say you feel the energy before you enter it.
By delivering the above we have customers that come in store to be styled by the team.
A customer called Anne who comes in each season for her seasonal wardrobe which is styled by a member of the team she trusts.
We know her , style, body type etc and cater to it.
Since we launched Critizr in store Sept this store alone has generated 984 responses from the customers. Which only landed in Sept 2021. This store is small at only 1800 square foot. However the experience is big.
The numbers speak for themselves.
There is a lot of mantra/ sayings we use in store about customer and fashion
The first is….
Fashion knows no day….
The customer chooses the person before the product…. How very right this is.
There is a lot of feedback from customers that they would love our store to be recognised.
I hope so to!
To sum it up if we didn’t love what we do we or wouldn’t be a success.
It’s not only our store it’s the customers store.
Hope we here something back .
Serena . Store Manager.

Coral Turner Couture, Telegraph Building, Harrington Way, London
I am a sole trader in the world of couture fashion, however I design and make couture ready to wear garments, that are one-of-a-kind. When I was growing up I recalled a time when you would find little boutiques hidden away that would have unusual one off pieces of clothing, I loved that on knowing that my friends wouldn’t be able to turn up as my twin! It was also one of the reasons that I love to sew and design.
Years later I still held onto that concept of creating a boutique that was unusual with eclectic one off pieces, all handmade and designed by me, running alongside my bespoke garments. Thus couture ready-to-wear which you can view online and then make an appointment to come to the studio and try on the garments to make your purchase. Customers have commented how relaxing an atmosphere it is, there’s no pressure to purchase, first we have a chat over a herb tea, then they select the pieces they have seen which is always delightful as they have a tactile approach, they can appreciate the colours, cut and fit more from online to in person. Their purchases are also gift wrapped, its all 1-1, we even discuss accessories to complete and compliment the look. There have also been those occasions where they decide to go from ready-to-wear to having a garment made specifically for them, which is equally a surprise especially if they have not had that experience before. I love the whole transformation that takes place, the buzz is when a customer says to me, ‘such and such will be jealous as its the only one, and they can’t copy me, I can’t want to show them’. There’s a cheeky glint in their eyes, it’s all about them.
I was originally told that I was attempting the impossible; but here I am today, with my unusual boutique with eclectic designs made in funky colourful fabrics, recreating my childhood dream!

New Look, BluewaterShoppingCenter, Dartford, Greenhithe
I am proud of my store and amazing team because they have always been passionate to contribute to our chosen company charities. We are currently supporting the environment by raising much needed funds for the kent wildlife trust, who are doing amazing things for the wildlife and environment in our county. We have raised the most amount of donations in our area because the team are so passionate about doing our bit in the current environmental crisis that we find ourselves in.
In addition to our store charity work, we are also passionate about supporting the community by giving our young talent a chance in obtaining their much needed first chance and the opportunity to develop their skills. Coming out of the recent pandemic, there have many unreported issues relating to our young adults and we feel its important to do what we can to support them in taking there first steps into work and bridging that social gap that unfortunately many young adults have missed out on over the last two years.
As well as us supporting the team, the team support each other which makes a big difference to peoples lives inside and outside of their working day.
We have also recently opened up a position for an apprentice which is something that we have never been able to secure instore. We understand that young peoples lives and grades have been affected with an overwhelming amount of mental health support being needed and offering an apprentice position is another way to help our young people. We understand that not everyone fits in the same box.
Thank you for listening

It is so hard to make the customer happy these days. With the pandemic, work from home and social distancing, it makes many customers on edge. Everything need to be fast, distance and clean.
But I proud of all my staffs because they still give their best to our customers.
We even at one time wore all the face shield and mask to handle in-store customer.
We sprays everyday with disinfectant and everyone who come to the store need to clean up the hand/sanitized and check temperature.
But I guess everyone need to safe and stay healthy for these pandemic. Hope everything will back to normal soon. But PROUD of ALL of YOU in the retails as we are facing the customers hands on and can’t do offline works.

I am proud of our store because, despite the very difficult times of the pandemic and the fuel crisis, our team always go above and beyond, despite some extremely stressful and unknown circumstances that we have been faced with, each and every team member always has a smile and a positive attitude. This is thanks to our team spirit we have built here as a store ‘family’ looking out for one another and supporting each other through the most difficult few years I have ever experienced in retail. The fuel crisis was beyond demanding on each and every one of us and even those of us who have worked in retail for years, were not prepared for how that situation would play out. These crisis situations that occur bring out the best and the worst in people as we have experienced with our customers and the general public. We have all faced unkindness from angry members of the public but not once was any one of us alone in dealing with this. Our amazing team supported each other in a dignified and calm manner at all times and got us all through it by sticking together. We have been shown immense kindness and gratitude by our local community, cards and messages of thanks and kind gestures. We are very much a small community store and very much look out for out our local community in every way. Helping whenever we can in what ever way we can. We raise money regularly for local charities and we put on events for the community even through covid we managed an Easter egg trail in a covid safe way in the local area. We have a strong relationship with our regulars and locals and we have a close knit team of staff who consider ourselves a family. I am so proud of everyone and how we have pulled together over the last few years. The darkest times have really shone a light on our strengths and just how incredible everyone is here at this store. Our BP Tudor family.

I am proud of my store and my fantastic team because we opened last November in a brand new store and the only food store in our community in the midst of a pandemic. Every single member excluding myself was completely new to the company at the time and every one of them have went out there way to deliver excellent service and and a life line for many customers in our area. Over and above this we have received multiple customer compliments and achieved fantastic results for the company.
